Connected to one of our Pulse Effects Boards to make the crystal clear brick water shimmer and shine - just like on the silver screen!

The cinematic realism doesn?t stop there. The entire Tolkien scene is bathed in an authentic moonlit glow, thanks to a range of Cool White Bit Lights strategically placed around the build. Recreate several dramatic moments of the first film in the terrific trilogy!

From crisp cool twilight skies, to warm and welcoming Elvish hospitality - see the many flames, fires, lanterns and candles lit up and dancing away thanks to more of our trusty Bit Lights as well as several Flicker Effects Boards. Ensuring this epic city feels like an inviting home to any traveller that comes in peace.

Light My Bricks LEGO Lighting Kits provide an easy way for LEGO fans to customize their models using LED lights. With detailed, step-by-step instructions, anyone can light up their LEGO set. All our kits are plug and play - no electronics knowledge needed!

IMPORTANT NOTE

We recommend lighting this kit by a USB Power Bank or USB Wall Adaptor (to connect to a mains outlet), which is NOT included in this kit. If you do not have a USB Power Bank or USB Wall Adaptor, you can purchase them from our Powering section.

Great light kit, one issue resolved by customer service right away!

The kit was easy enough to install (a few tough steps) and elevates the display piece by leaps and bounds. One of the flicker boards that came in the light kit was faulty but the easy form available to fill out on their website resulted in a customer service member contacting me same day and shipping me a new part at no cost. Thank you for offering this product and making my Rivendell set look even better than it did before!

This kit turns the magic up to 11! While it’s the most tedious install due to all of the micro bit lights in the candelabras, the results are simply incredible. I love seeing faces light up when I power up the kit. Definitely recommend!

Superb!

This was my first purchase and it did not disappoint. The instructions were amazingly clear. The wiring is very "fiddly" but also robust enough that it can take some manipulation during install and still work well. One of my micro bit lights had a broken wire but there was an extra in the kit so I made do. My only nitpick would be that the "flicker" effects are a bit two fast. They could cut the flicker speed by half and get a less "frantic" look. But it IS super cool that each output flickers independently.

Brilliant addition to a gorgeous set!

My wife and I got the Rivendell set for Christmas and built it together, and the set was absolutely gorgeous, but it was missing the Elvish luminescence of Tolkien's Middle Earth. A good friend of mine gave me your lighting kit as a birthday present (don't tell Deagol or especially Smeagol). I must say, it brings a Faërie glow to this brick-built subcreation.

I am completely new to lighting kits, so it was a bit of a challenge - the micro bit lights added to the candles were a little tricky and I ended up breaking a few during the installation of the first structure's lighting. I ordered and paid for replacements and asked for advice on installation and the LMB crew offered store credit (without me even asking for it). I was quite impressed with their customer service.

The end result of the kit was gorgeous. I love the flicker of the candles where Bilbo gave Frodo Sting and the mithril shirt. The glow of the Elvish forge evokes the sounds of hammer on anvil as the shards of Narsil are forged anew into Andúril. And of course, the well-lit Council of Elrond conjures Gandalf's scandalous recitation: "Ash nazg durbatalûk..." The there are all the architectural and feature lights. Magnificent!

I did add some transgreen "filters" to a few lights to soften the look a bit (see video).

My only critique has to do with the wiring of the main tower. The tower is designed to be removed to provide access to Bilbo's study, so it would seem better if they could have added a wireless…

Great set

Very nice set that complements the LEGO set beautifully. The overview pre-purchase of the contents of the set were very good, and the packing of all the components in marked ziplock bags was greatly appreciated. The instructions are available through a QR code and are very thorough and easy to follow.
